Grew up by the Swale near Richmond fishing it nearly every day of my childhood, fished for dace, grayling and chub etc and then got into match fishing with 2 local clubs. Moved to Leeds at 19 years of age to go to university and I have lived here ever since!

The Swale is my favourite river. Specialised as a barbel angler around 5 years ago and cannot shake the bug.......
